Rose Bowl Aquatics named 2014 Gold Medal Winner in Swim-a-Thon Contest

With a spin of the Swim-a-Thon contest prize wheel, Rose Bowl Aquatics won the 2014 Swim-a-Thon Contest Grand Prize title and an incredible prize package, including a personal visit to their club by Olympic medalist Connor Dwyer!  In addition to the visit, Rose Bowl will receive a year's worth of SwimOffice Team Management licensing fees from the USA Swimming Foundation's official online fundraising partner, TeamUnify. 

Rose Bowl Aquatics was one of four Gold Medal winners entered into the Grand Prize drawing. In addition to Rose Bowl Aquatics, Seward Tsunami Swim Club, Charles River Aquatics Dragons and Mt. Hood Aquatics all won valuable prize packages of a customized Deck Pass patch, featured article in USA Swimming's Splash magazine, gift certificate to host a pizza party, and compliments of TeamUnify, $200 Visa gift cards.

May 31, 2014 was a day to remember for Katy Aquatics swimmers, coaches and parents when Olympic gold medalist, Ricky Berens, paid a visit to their club for an inspirational talk and swim clinic.  Ricky’s visit was part of the prize package Katy Aquatics received when they were selected as the grand prize winner in the 2013 Swim-a-Thon Contest.

In addition to Ricky’s visit, Katy Aquatics received one year's worth of SwimOffice™ Team Management license fees from our online fundraising partner, TeamUnify. This is in addition to the Gold Medal prize package they were awarded!

Katy Aquatics of Katy, Texas has been named the Grand Prize winner of the USA Swimming Foundation's 2013 Swim-a-Thon™ contest. With a spin of the Swim-a-Thon™ prize wheel by Olympic gold medalist and National Team Managing Director Lindsay Mintenko, Katy Aquatics became the Grand Prize winner of our inaugural Swim-a-Thon™ contest.

Katy has won a prize package of a personal visit to their club from Olympic gold medalist, Ricky Berens, and one year's worth of SwimOffice™ Team Management license fees from our online fundraising partner, TeamUnify. This is in addition to the Gold Medal prize package they have been awarded!  Read all about KATY Aquatics award winning visit from Ricky!

Our 2013 Gold Medal Swim-a-Thon™ Contest winners were announced on February 10, 2014 and are:

  • West Coast Aquatics (Mill Creek, Wash.)
  • Splash Aquatics-Makiki (Honolulu, Hawaii)
  • Mt. Hood Aquatics (Gresham, Ore.)
  • Katy Aquatics (Katy,Texas)

The four Gold Medal winners are being recognized for earning the most Swim-a-Thon™ contest points  between January and November 2013 in their respective club size categories.

Each of the four swim clubs are the winners of an awesome Gold Medal prize package: 

  • Customized Team Deck  Pass patch
  • A 2014 feature article in USA Swimming’s Splash magazine
  • Pizza restaurant  gift certificate to host a team celebration party
  • $200 Visa  gift card provided by our online fundraising partner, TeamUnify
