The USA Swimming Foundation has announced the winners to its “Champions in Life” contest. The competition was a call-out to people who have benefitted from the sport of swimming in various aspects of their lives.
The competition winners were: Olivia Kim of the Pleasanton Seahawks Swim Team in the 10-and-under division; Ali Schwein of Ellsworth, Mich., in the 10-18 years division; Anthony Randall of Narragansett, R.I. in the 18-29 years division; and Brandi Palmer of Overland Park, Kan., in the 30+ division.
The group will be recognized at the USA Swimming Foundation booth in the Aqua Zone at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Neb.
