Ryan Lochte is no stranger to Olympic success. He won his first gold in 2004, helping upset the favored Australians in the 800m free relay. In 2008, he won his first individual gold in the 200m backstroke. He then followed suit in 2012 with another individual gold in the 400m IM. He’s now busy promoting his new reality show and training for the 2013 World Championship Trials.
In this issue of Splash, we ask Ryan a couple questions to help you get to know him better, and he also gives us five tips for swimming the 400 IM. Read about him now in “Lessons from the Masters,” in the online edition of the May-June issue of Splash. Also available as a mobile app.
