Jones Visits Amphibious Achievement

1/30/2014

Amphibious Achievement was visited by Olympic gold medalist Cullen Jones this past week after winning the USA Swimming Foundation’s contest, “A Picture’s Worth A Thousand Words.” The Make a Splash Local Partner won the contest after submitting a photo that told a visual story about their program.

Jones traveled to Cambridge, Mass., and spent the day with Amphibious Achievement on Jan. 25. During the day, Jones connected with the college mentors and high school achievers during the class room presentation. He then led a two-hour pool clinic where he participated in relays and learned what participation in the Amphibious Achievement program meant to its swimmers. The event ended with a photograph and autograph session.
