Winkowski joined USA Swimming Team Services in March 2022 as a Senior Advisor for Team Services (eastern Zone).

She spent the last 18 years as the Associate Head Coach for Dynamo Swim Club in Atlanta, Georgia. During that time, she immersed herself in every aspect of the Dynamo business including but not limited to: experience coaching every training group on the team, swim school director, meet director, partnering to implement a pre-competitive program and more. She volunteered for the LSC in many positions including Camps Director and Senior Chair. She also served USA Swimming as a member of the Age Group Committee, Senior Committee, Senior Sectionals Task Force and HOD Task Force #2.

Prior to her time at Dynamo, Winkowski was the CEO/ Head Coach of Portland Aquatic Club. She guided the team through the process of becoming an entity apart for the city Parks and Rec program and worked to reorganize the team structure, finances and governance to meet the needs of a rapidly growing club experiencing tremendous athletic success.

Winkowski is the proud alum of the University of Notre Dame who spent many hours with her head down staring at a black line in the distance group. She has a daughter, Ceara (age 19), and a dog, Marley Bones Rose McGuire.
