COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Swimming today recognized the top-ranked American junior swimmers of 2018 as members of the third annual 18 & Under World 100.

For the second straight year, National Team members Regan Smith (Lakeville, Minn./Riptide Swim Team) and Robert Finke (Clearwater, Fla./St. Petersburg Aquatics) lead the way with the top-ranked performances among all U.S. 18-and-under competitors. Team USA teenagers posted the world’s top performance in the 18-and-under ranks in six events as of Sept. 7, 2018.

The complete list of all 311 18-and-under swimmers who posted a top-100 world ranking and earned a spot on the 18 & Under World 10 is linked below.

Swimmers named to the 18 & Under World 100 must be age 18 or under on Sept. 1, 2018, registered as a USA Swimming member at the time of the qualifying performance and must be eligible to represent the U.S. in international competition as of Sept. 1, 2018. Athletes will receive a commemorative 18 & World 100 certificate.

18 & Under World 100 members with a power rank among the top 50 of each gender who have never represented the United States in international competition and are currently in high school will be eligible to represent USA Swimming at the 2019 Mel Zajac Jr. International meet in Vancouver.

Nine members of last year’s World 100 honorees made their international debut at the 2018 Mel Zajac Jr. International and went on to qualify to represent the United States at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

Coaches of each gender’s top-50-power-ranked 18 & World 100 swimmers will be invited to the USA Swimming National Team Coaches Seminar in Colorado Springs and are eligible for USA Swimming’s Coach Enrichment Program.

Selection procedures for the 18 & Under World 100 can be found online at usaswimming.org.
