Applications Open for the 2024 National Diversity Select Camp

Athlete and Assistant Coach applications are open for the 2024 National Diversity Select Camp, scheduled for June 13-16, 2024. Athletes can apply through February 18, and coaches can applythrough February 29.
For the first time in history, Indianapolis will host the camp just days before the 2024 U.S. Team Trials – Swimming takes center stage in Lucas Oil Stadium. All attendees will be a part of history as the camp culminates with a trip to Trials opening night, the largest swim meet in history.
“This camp is always an incredible experience for athletes and coaches,” said USA Swimming Managing Director of Sport Development Joel Shinofield. “We are especially excited to bring these up-and-coming athletes to Indianapolis, where they can participate in a one-of-a-kind swimming experience at camp and watch an incredible history-making meet in a football stadium.”
USA Swimming created the National Diversity Select Camp to empower athletes from diverse backgrounds and under-represented populations to participate in a special swimming experience. Up to 28 athletes from each competition category will experience workouts and training sessions led by decorated leaders within the sport. To qualify, athletes 14-16 years old must have achieved at least one National Diversity Select Camp time standard (13-14 AAAA qualifying time) in a USA Swimming sanctioned or approved swim meet between September 1, 2022 – August 31, 2023. Only LCM times are considered. To view the full selection criteria, click here.
The camp includes lodging, meals, airfare, and ground transportation for all attendees. National Diversity Select Camp Alumni include Olympians Simone Manuel, Jay Litherland, Torri Huske, and Natalie Hinds.
