2023-24 Scholastic All-America 885x544

USA Swimming today announced the complete list of 2023-24 Scholastic All-America recipients. The list consists of 1,790 athletes in grades 9-12 who maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and met any of the competition criteria* during the qualifying period of September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024. Compared to last year, more than 650 additional athletes earned the honor. View the full list here.

To alert athletes, families, and clubs of the individual Scholastic All-America qualifications, the USA Swimming SWIMS database offered pop-up notifications when users logged in. This feature allowed members and their associated clubs to see who qualified, how to complete an application, and the deadline.

“Proactive notifications increased participation by over 600 athletes across the country, ensuring all qualified athletes had access to the program and recognition,” USA Swimming Managing Director of Sport Development Joel Shinofield said. “With the positive feedback we received on the Scholastic All-America communication, we are excited to mimic these features for other programs, like camp selections.”

12 athletes met the 2023-24 Para Scholastic All-America standards, marking the fourth year athletes with disabilities can qualify for the program. This year’s honorees also include three open water athletes.

The Southern Zone led this year's Scholastic All-America selections with 581 athletes, with the North Carolina Swimming qualifying 139 to lead all Local Swimming Committees (LSC). SwimMAC Carolina led all swim clubs with 33 athletes. A full breakdown of selections is below.
