Three Additional Coaching Network Webinars are Live on USA Swimming University

Three additional Coaching Network Courses were recently added to USA Swimming University; bringing the total to 13 free Coaching Network Webinar courses members can utilize. Take advantage of recordings by logging into USA Swimming University and registering for future live webinars here.
What are the Coaching Network Webinar courses?
The 10 & Under, 11-14, and Senior Coaching Network Webinars draw on the experience of experts in their field, providing unique learning opportunities for coaches who work with specific age groups. All speaker presentation webinars, Let’s Dive In series, and pop-up clinics are recorded live throughout the year. Registration for all available live webinars is available on the Coaches Community website.
What are the new courses and topics?
Here is a list of newly added webinars:
10 & Under Network:
- Educating and Engaging Swim Parents: As part of the Let’s Dive In series, coaches from across the country share what education they provide to 10&U parents, how they achieve it, and how they engage with swim parents.
11-14 Network:
- Cultivating Independence for Long-Term Athletic Success: Learn from USA Swimming National Team High Performance Specialist Curtis Goss as he discusses what athletes need to be able to do at competitions without their primary coach’s intervention. Additionally, Goss proposes ways for coaches to cultivate independence with their own athletes.
Senior Group Network:
- Dryland Training for Senior Level Athletes: Join USA Swimming Director of Sports Medicine and Science Keenan Robinson as he shares ideas for coaches to incorporate a dryland program for their athletes with little to no equipment. The course covers foundational movements, types of muscle contractions and planes of movement.
