After the standout performances of the 2024 Olympic Games Paris, USA Swimming has announced its nominees for the 2024 Golden Goggle Awards, taking place on November 23rd in Indianapolis, Indiana. The annual awards show is in its 21st year and celebrates the swim season’s top accomplishments by American athletes, with special emphasis on the Paris Olympics.
This year’s ballot is headlined by Torri Huske and Gretchen Walsh, each of whom are on the ballot for four awards for their individual and relay performances in Paris. On the men’s side, Nic Fink leads the way with three nominations following his performance in the 100m breaststroke and on the 4x100m mixed medley relay.

Proceeds from the Golden Goggle Awards benefit the USA Swimming Foundation, whose mission is to Save Lives, Build Champions, and Impact Communities. In addition to providing learn-to-swim grants and community impact grants to programs across the country, the USA Swimming Foundation supports the U.S. National Team and its development efforts aimed at strengthening the future of USA Swimming’s programs and services.

This award is given to the athlete who came back from adversity, retirement, sickness, injury, etc., to have an outstanding performance(s) in 2024, with special emphasis on the 2024 Olympic Games.
