Caitlin Leverenz Smith

Team USA Athletes’ Commission Alternate

Caitlin Leverenz Smith is a 2012 Olympic medalist who graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health. She also graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2021 with a Master of Business Administration.

In her time as a professional swimmer, Caitlin represented the US at the 2007 Pan American Games, the 2012 Olympics, the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships, and the 2015 Pan American Games.

Caitlin currently works in business development for Dexcom, a medical equipment manufacturing company, and resides in San Diego, CA. She has served as the Chair of the USA Swimming Athletes’ Advisory Council since its inception in 2021 and has been a member of the National Team Steering Committee, the Athletes’ Executive Committee, and the CEO Search Task Force.
