In Kim's 20+ years in high tech, innovation and the desire to try new things have lead to senior/executive leadership positions spanning a variety of marketing positions including solution marketing and partner marketing along with business development and operations at Fortune 500 companies and startups.  Throughout it all, investment in team development continues to be a priority as giving back is a philosophy she embraces personally and professionally.

Athletically, Kim did basketball, softball and swimming as an age grouper before deciding to solely focus on swimming when she was 12.  She swam for multiple club teams, including Bellevue Club Swim Team and continued through college where she was co-captain her senior year at the University of California, Berkeley.  While also at Cal, she was the swim team representative and served as Treasurer for Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics.  Kim competed at junior and senior nationals and Pac-10 Championships well as at the 1984 US Olympic Trials.  

For the last few years, she has enjoyed being a swim mom to her daughter who is a member of the Burlingame Aquatics Club in Burlingame, California.
