November is #ThankYouCoach month, where swimmers nationwide are encouraged to thank their coaches for all their time, effort and dedication they put towards the sport.
Here are three ways to thank your coach this month:
Use the USA Swimming handout!
Showcase your creativity by thanking your coach with a print-and-fill-in document. USA Swimming has created prompts for you to fill out, print out and hand to your coach.
View and print the document here: https://www.usaswimming.org/docs/default-source/clubsdocuments/2021thankyoucoach.pdf.
Share Your Gratitude Digitally
Utilize your social media channels and use the #ThankYouCoach hashtag to share with your followers what your coach means to you. Members of the swimming community can also email splash@usaswimming.org to share their gratitude for their coach with USA Swimming. Emails and social media posts may just be shared across USA Swimming’s digital platforms or potentially used in a future edition of Splash Magazine!
Keep it simple – thank them in person!
A simple “thank you” can go a long way. At your next practice, meet or team gathering, go up to your coaches and thank them for all that they do for you, your teammates and your club.
